Stygian: Outer Gods story: Kingsport and three endings
Stygian: Outer Gods follows Jack Harrison through Kingsport, the town from H. P. Lovecraft's fiction. The 1.0 announcement says your choices during the journey decide which of three endings you reach. The developer describes the aim as capturing the uncertainty and vulnerability at the heart of Lovecraftian horror.

Tone
Melee encounters are deliberately tense; after launch the developer said it would soften the most frustrating parts of melee combat based on feedback. Ending conditions are not published, so this page does not describe them.
